Ferrari have unveiled the car that they hope will win the 2018 Formula one constructors trophy.
The halo-fitted car was shown off at Ferrari’s Maranello base today, four days before the start of F1’s pre-season testing at Barcelona.
On a day overshadowed by the launch of Mercedes new car, the W09, the SF71H revealed it’s lack of Santander branding.
The SF71H is the first Ferrari F1 challenger since the 2009 machine not to feature Santander branding, following the Spanish financial giant’s decision to end its F1 sponsorship deals.
“Compared to 2017’s SF70H, the wheelbase has been changed slightly, with the side dimensions also revised along with the cooling system,” said Ferrari.
Finally accepting the long wheel based design, it looks like Ferrari could be just as competitive as last year as testing begins in four days.
